RIDE FOR ZIMELE Fundraiser 2025

Join us on our 8th Annual Ride for Zimele!

From August 9 to August 13, 6 cyclists will ride 440 miles in 5 days from Nyack, New York to Portland, Maine to raise awareness and funds to support Zimele's work confronting poverty and empowering women in rural communities in South Africa.

Zimele's mission is to combat poverty in South Africa through the empowerment of women by providing them with skills such as financial literacy, small business training, and life skills. Zimele not only equips these women with the skills necessary to succeed in their context, but also aids them in starting up small businesses and social service projects. Zimele's goal is to give South African women a “hand up” rather than a “handout.”
