Ride for Zimele 2026

Join us on our 9th Annual Ride for Zimele!

From August 2 to August 6, 6 cyclists will ride over 450 miles in 5 days from Nyack, New York to Montreal, Canada to raise awareness and funds to support Zimele's work confronting poverty and empowering women in rural communities in South Africa.

Zimele's mission is to combat poverty in South Africa through the empowerment of women by providing them with skills such as financial literacy, small business training, and life skills. Zimele not only equips these women with the skills necessary to succeed in their context, but also aids them in starting up small businesses and social service projects. Zimele's goal is to give South African women a “hand up” rather than a “handout.”
